Clothe in Christ
ROMANS 13:14 NIV
“Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.”
One fact about myself is that I'am a lover of fashion just like many of you. I believe fashion is an art in which GOD allows me to not only fashionably dress according to the seasons, but to use as an outlet to express my visionary gift to the world. Whether I’m training in the gym/park, running errands throughout New York, or taking care of business; my style is a reflection of my identity in CHRIST: Creator, Leader, and Athleticism. For the most part, I’am a simple and easy going and it's safe to say that I'm a minimalist. Occasionally, there are also times when I boldly take risk outside of my norm to showcase my versatility.
It’s a blessing to create and I thank GOD for the ability to be innovative. In CHRIST I live, move and have my being (ACTS 17:28). Therefore, by the grace of GOD I present to you three (3) different fashionable looks all while wearing the same GRAND AC athletic apparel. I added a few pieces (brands: Nicole Miller, Kenneth Cole, Breuckelen Native, Nike, Levi's) and accessories to give you an active, leisure, and business style look.

Similar to CHRIST, but no where as mighty, fashion is universal and unites people from all over the world. Fashion also influences and allows us to love and embrace all traditions and cultures. Ultimately, with the purpose to establish GODLY relations both locally and globally. Relationships which brings about unification. Don't ask because I don’t have actual statistics lol, but its obvious that the value of GODLY relationships has diminished drastically over the years. I believe one of the reasons is because we adopted a “networking” mentally over a relationship mentality. Our primary focus has shifted from serving and edifying each other to taking advantage of each other. Why? Simply because we put ourselves at the center instead of our creator & provider of all things (GOD). Instead of using the resources GOD provided to love, unite, serve, and build relations, we are using HIS resources to subjugate.
Whether you’re an entrepreneur, an employee working for a corporate company/organization, or even a church pastor; there’s absolutely nothing wrong with earning money. We all need money to take care of our families, pay bills, tithe, serve, etc. It’s the love of money that is the root of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). It’s when being under the influence of the spirit of mammon- materialism, greedy, envy, lust, self-righteousness where we experience danger/death.
GOD is love and he loves us sooo much HIS creation (everything in Heaven and earth) allow us to fashionably express our true identity in CHRIST. Let’s make sure that we clothe ourselves in HIM and not our flesh.
